Nvidia also joins the world of streaming, featuring: GeForce Shadowplay, an option that will integrate their software GeForce Experience and give us the ability to record our own games with minimum performance loss. The advantage of this over other existing application, is that it is capable of recording with an impact of only 5-10% in game performance, due to the better utilization of the graphics card. The video is generated using H.264 and only be saved to the hard drive (where is the biggest problem) if we so choose. The only limitation on Windows 7 is the file size, which can not exceed 4GB, although this problem disappears in Windows 8 or 8.1. Shadowplay GeForce Beta will be released on October 28, coinciding with the release of version 1.7 of the software GeForce Experience.
